I was at my friend Aoife's wedding last weekend. The venue was lakeside and with the sun out, it was definitely the perfect occasion for this outfit. I got a lot of compliments on the dress with its gorgeous print - which is what attracted me to it in the first place! One of the girls said she would love something like this because she's going to Ladies Day at the Races in a few weeks and this would be ideal. She already has the silver heels, bag and jewellery. Spring is Here
Isn't it Fab! Coat not needed. I slipped on this simple dress and headed off to meet up with the girls today. A day shopping! Wow, looking back at this photo, I can see what the girls meant about the way the striking print stands out from the hazy spring sunshine.
I just needed to pick up a nice pair of shoes today, to match the dress of course ;) Amber was the fountain of all knowledge in the shoe department offering me the sage advice that I should go for a 'sensible' day pair, so I can wear the dress to the office and something a little more bling for that occasional after work drink.
